How do I add my Stash debit card for use on Google Pay?

  1. Open the Google Pay app and select credit or debit card.
  2. Position your card in the camera frame to automatically enter your card information or manually enter your card information. Enter the security code found on the back of your Stash debit card.
  3. Stash will receive and validate your card. You may be asked for additional information to validate your card in some instances.

What is Google Pay?

Google Pay lets you make fast, secure, and simple in-app and tap-to-pay purchases at participating retailers using your Android devices. Instead of using your actual card number, Google Pay creates a virtual account number that merchants see when you make in-store payments.

What devices use Google Pay?

Google Pay works on eligible Android phones, tablets, and watches with the latest operating systems. For further details about devices and operating systems, please visit the Google Pay site.

Is Google Pay safe?

Your full card number is not stored on your phone. Your payment information is encrypted and stored on secure servers.

If you store multiple fingerprints on your device including those of additional persons, those persons will also be able to access your Google Pay via fingerprint when fingerprint authentication is enabled. You should only enable fingerprint authentication if you’re the only person who has registered fingerprints on your device.
