Does Stash store my bank login information on their servers?

When you use your bank login information to link your bank account, we use Plaid to authenticate your account before making payment transfers. By using Plaid’s credential-based login to link to your bank account during, Plaid helps us get you investing faster. We do not store your username and password for your bank account. Plaid will provide us with an access token that exclusively allows us to retrieve your account information. All information transmitted between Plaid and Stash is encrypted over a 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and secured with bank level protection. All information Stash receives from Plaid is covered by Stash’s Privacy Policy.
