I was charged an overdraft fee because of my Stash account. What should I do?
We hate overdraft fees as much as you do. We wish that banks wouldn’t charge them!
If you’ve already been charged an overdraft fee, we’re unable to reimburse the fees charged by your bank. Please call your bank and ask them to waive the fee.
The best way to avoid an overdraft fee is to make sure there’s enough money in your external linked bank account before initiating a transfer. Remember that you may have some recurring payments on your external account and be sure to take them into consideration. We also recommend double-checking your Auto-Add Cash, if it’s enabled, to make sure that the amount won’t cause you to overdraft.
